Introduction to Classical Music with a teaser of the Fall Term Topic, Music Tells Stories!

Jonathan Palevsky, a native Montrealer, left La Belle Province in 1977 to do his undergraduate studies in Music History at Carleton University in Ottawa. In 1982 he moved to Baltimore to do his Masters in Guitar Performance at Baltimore’s Peabody Conservatory. Graduating from Peabody in 1986 he began working at WBJC-FM first as a classical music announcer, then as Program Director and now as Interim General Manager. In addition to his radio duties Mr. Palevsky frequently lectures on music and related subjects at both Johns Hopkins and Towson Universities.
