In honour of Remembrance Day, retired Colonel Sylvain Fredette will share

his career experiences in the The Canadian Armed Forces. He served in Africa and the Caribbean as head of various missions for the Directorate of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, he was a department Dean at the Military College in Kingston Ontario, he was the Director of Strategic Planning in Ottawa, Ontario and finished his army career in December 2014 as Director of Research and Development in Kingston Ontario. He brings a wealth of knowledge of the role of the Armed Forces in Canadian society and in world affairs.
