Drawing Basics

Back by popular demand, Pat Walsh’s Drawing Basics Program will return for an encore this Fall. Whether you’re coming back or joining us for the first time, this is what you have to look forward to:  introduction to basics that will help you develop fundamental techniques and skills of drawing. Using simple materials (pencils and conté), we will explore the visual world as we observe and learn to draw everyday objects that surround us.
Instructor: Pat Walsh has been teaching in and around Montréal for many years, including at the Visual Arts Centre in Westmount. She has a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts, and has exhibited throughout eastern Canada.
Available by Zoom only and it is required that your device have functional speakers, microphone, and camera.  (includes art materials and their delivery to your door.)

The Drawing Basics course has presently reached maximum capacity, but we are compiling a waiting list should there be enough people to start another class with the date and time yet to be determined. Minimum requirement is 6 people.  If you would like to be placed on the waiting list please email Janice at janice.parnell@contactivitycentre.org
